Former Saurashtra opener Jitu Shah no more

Jitendra Shah who was a popular figure for Saurashtra Ranji team breathed his last at 76 after suffering a brain stroke in Ahmedabad on Thursday, Saurashtra Cricket Association revealed. Shah was a left-handed opener who was a key part of Saurashtra’s Ranji campaign from 1965 to 1974 played 19 Ranji matches scoring 576 runs. His contribution to Saurashtra cricket will always be remembered, SCA said in a statement
