French basketball player fined in China for not staring at flag during national anthem

A French former NBA player was reprimanded for not staring at the Chinese flag during the national anthem before a game. He was also fined $1,400 by the sports officials in China. As per the law, players with the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) are supposed to stare at the national symbol during the "March of the Volunteers", but the player named Guerschon Yabusele had his head down before Friday's game.
