The US women's football team (USWNT) has accused its federation of using a "ruse" as it recently declared the women’s football team earns more than their male counterpart. The US women's team took legal against the US Soccer Federation (USSF) demanding equal pay in March, four months before winning the World Cup. Despite the USSF’s recent claim of equal pay, the USWNT says the numbers given were "utterly false".
