Heartbreak for Sindhu in Indonesia Open final

PV Sindhu’s hopes of breaking a seven-month title deadlock were destroyed after a straight-game defeat to Akane Yamaguchi in the Indonesia Open final. The Olympic silver medalist Sindhu lost 15-21 16-21 to the Japanese in a 51-minute encounter. Appearing in her first final of the season, the Indian shuttler looked a bit anxious against 22-year-old Yamaguchi whom she had beaten in the past four meetings.
