I would have easily scored my hundred: Gambhir blames Dhoni for not scoring century in 2011 WC Final

Gautam Gambhir played a match-winning knock in the 2011 WC final but missed his century by 3 runs getting out to Thisara Perera. Gambhir now revealed that advice from MS Dhoni cost him his century and said I never thought about my own individual score but looked at the target set by Sri Lanka. I and Dhoni were at the crease. He told me that ‘these three runs are remaining, get these 3 runs and your hundred would be completed.
