ICC has warned fans against scams and frauds under the guise of various schemes falsely claiming to be associated with the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019. The scams may range from various lotteries, promotions to a number of online or offline competitions, schemes, and offers. ICC has also provided online resources to give advice if anyone receives a suspected correspondence or has responded to a potential scam.
