India advances into hockey quarterfinals after defeating Argentina 3-1

The Indian men's hockey team made its way to the quarterfinals at the Tokyo Olympics after a convincing victory over Argentina. India defeated Argentina 3-1. Varun Kumar, Vivek Sagar Prasad and Harmanpreet Singh scored goals in the second half of the match to hand India a victory over the defending Olympic champion. The only goal for Argentina was scored by Maico Casella. India will next face Japan tomorrow.
