India bid to host Hockey World Cup 2023

India are among the six countries which have submitted bids to host the next hockey World Cup. India have proposed organizing the event for either men or women in the January 13 to 29, 2023 window, which has is also preferred by Australia and New Zealand. India have previously hosted the men’s World Cup thrice, the latest was last year in Bhubaneswar. The final decision will be taken in June this year.
