India to host 2023 Men's Hockey World Cup, become 1st nation to host two consecutive Men's WC

India will host the Men's Hockey World Cup in 2023 which would be played from January 13-29. The Executive Board of the International Hockey Federation made this announcement in Lausanne, Switzerland on Friday. Spain and Netherlands have been named as the co-hosts for the Hockey Women's World Cup in 2022. Women's World Cup would be played from July 1-17. India had hosted the 14th edition of Men’s Hockey World Cup last year.
