India's wait for a medal at the Tokyo Olympics ended as star weightlifter Mirabai Chanu won a Silver after lifting 115 kg on her second attempt, creating a new Olympic record. She next went for 117 kg on her final attempt but failed, settling for a Silver. PM Modi took to Twitter to congratulate the athlete. "Congratulations to her for winning the Silver medal in weightlifting. Her success motivates every Indian," the PM wrote.
