India women cricket team defeated West Indies by 53 runs in the second ODI of the three-match series at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on Sunday. India gave West Indies a target of 192, who got off to a bad start as they lost their first opener in the 4th over. For India, Mithali Raj scored 40 runs and built a partnership of 66 runs with Punam Raut, who scored a well-fought 77. Harmanpreet also scored 46 runs.
