Indian TT teams go down in Tokyo Olympic qualifiers

Indian men’s and women’s table tennis teams suffered heartbreaking defeats in the pre-quarters of world team Olympic qualifiers. Securing the quarterfinals berths would have ensured both teams directly qualifying for Tokyo Olympics. However, all is not lost. They still have a chance to make it the Tokyo Games as the 8 losing sides will play a knockout for the one remaining spot each in men and women’s competitions.
