India's Sumit Nagal defeats Uzbekistan's Denis Istomin in tennis men's singles to reach second round

Indian tennis player Sumit Nagal reached the second round of the men's singles in the Tokyo Olympics after defeating Uzbekistan's Denis Istomin 6-4, 6-7, 6-4 in the first round on Saturday. Nagal won the first round by 6-4 convincingly. Istomin gave him a tough fight in the second set to win it 7-6. But Nagal came back strong in the third and the deciding set of the match to defeat his opponent 6-4.
