Ishan Kishan registers second-fastest fifty on ODI debut

Wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan on Sunday registered the second-fastest fifty for a batsman on his ODI debut. Kishan achieved the feat in the ongoing first ODI of the three-match series against Sri Lanka here at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Coming into bat at number three while chasing 263, Kishan brought up his fifty off just 33 balls. The fastest fifty on ODI debut was registered by Krunal Pandya against England in March 2021.
