Ravindra Jadeja was greeted with a six on his first ball before Pant suggested him to change his line and length and bowl-like what he did to Colin de Grandhomme. The off-spinner duly obliged and the very next ball castled Southee and wrapped up the Kiwis innings with 249 onboard. The plan worked and credit should be given to Pant for helping Jadeja to get rid of Tim Southee.
