Javier Hernandez joins MLS side LA Galaxy

Mexico’s all-time leading scorer Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez has joined Major League Soccer side Los Angeles Galaxy from La Liga’s Sevilla as a “Designated Player” for a three-year contract. Hernandez, who has scored 52 international goals in 109 matches for his country, will now have to fill the void left by Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic who put an end to his MLS career last November after 2 seasons.
