Jaydev Unadkat-led Saurashtra wins maiden Ranji Trophy title after defeating Bengal

Saurashtra won their maiden Ranji Trophy title on Friday, led by pacer Jaydev Unadkat, on the back of their 1st innings lead against Bengal in the final played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. Saurashtra scored 425 in their first innings riding on a brilliant century from Arpit Vasavada. while Bengal was restricted on 381. The match was ending towards a draw and Saurashtra was declared the winner on the basis of lead.
