England captain Joe Root continued his sizzling form in Test cricket as he registered yet another fifty during day 1 of the second Test match against West Indies, at Headingley, today. Now, he equalled AB de Villiers world record of half-centuries in 12 successive Tests. Root’s record form started last October when England was touring Bangladesh. He now stands one mark away from scripting a world record.
