KXIP proposes national anthem before start of every IPL game

Kings XI Punjab co-owner Ness Wadia has requested BCCI to make it mandatory for Indian national anthem to be played before start of every IPL match, beginning with the 2020 edition. National anthems are generally played before the start of an international match but Wadia believes it has to be the norm in world’s number one cricket league also. He also praised BCCI for scrapping the expensive IPL opening ceremony.
