Lewis Hamilton wins record sixth British GP

Lewis Hamilton won a record sixth British Grand Prix at a packed Silverstone. The world champion clocked the fastest lap on his final lap finishing 25 seconds clear of Mercedes teammate and nearest title rival Valtteri Bottas after a thrilling contest. The Briton has now moved 39 points clear of Bottas in the title race. Charles Leclerc of Ferrari ended the race third. It was Hamilton’s 7th win in 10 races this year.
