MCC to review overthrow law after WC final row

Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), the custodians of cricket laws, is pondering over reviewing the controversial overthrow rule after the dramatic end to the 2019 World Cup final between England and New Zealand recently. MCC’s attention were drawn to the overthrows rule after New Zealand were left heartbroken over a deflection that went for four off the last delivery in England’s chase, which eventually forced a tie.
