Messi returns to Argentina squad after 3-month ban

Argentina has recalled Lionel Messi for the upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Uruguay after a 3-month international ban. The 32-year-old forward hasn’t played for his country since he was sent off in Argentina’s 2-1 defeat to Chile in the Copa America playoff in July. He was then suspended and fined by South American football governing body CONMEBOL for alleging the Copa America a ‘corrupt’ tournament.
