Nadal overcomes Goffin challenge to reach French Open 4th round

Rafael Nadal survived a scare on Friday to move on for a record-extending 12th French Open title after he beat David Goffin to reach the 4th round. The 17-time Grand Slam champion powered back after a spectacular third set from Belgian Goffin to seal the 6-1, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 win taking his Roland Garros win-loss record to 89-2. Interestingly, exactly 10 years ago he suffered a shock exit to Robin Soderling in Paris.
