Nadal wins first title of 2020 in Acapulco

Rafael Nadal won his first title of 2020, beating Taylor Fritz in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 to clinch the ATP Mexico Open. Nadal, appearing in his first completion since after losing in the Australian Open quarterfinals last month, didn’t even drop a set all week. This was his third Mexico Open title after the victories in 2013 and 2005. Nadal dominated Fritz all through in the first career meeting between the two.
