Napoli sack manager hours after big Champions League win

Napoli have axed manager Carlo Ancelotti despite the Italian guiding them to Champions League knockout stages. The Serie A club was winless for 9 games until Tuesday’s 4-0 home victory against Genk. Last month Ancelotti and Napoli players were in a shocking dispute with president Aurelio de Laurentiis who ordered the team to attend a week-long training camp but manager Ancelotti and his players all returned home.
