On 8th February 1994, Kapil Dev achieved a landmark of 432nd Test wicket which remained world record in Test cricket for over 6 Years before Courtney Walsh broke it in 2000. Kapil surpassed Richard Hadlee's record of maximum Test wickets. He achieved this feat during the test match against Sri Lanka at Ahmedabad and Hashan Tillakaratne became Kapil's 432nd victim.
