Pakistan bans IPL broadcast citing ridiculous reason

Pakistan has banned the telecast of IPL matches in the country, citing an "organized effort" by India to "harm" the game in Pakistan. The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said the move was taken by the Cabinet as India left no opportunity to harm Pakistan's cricket. The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority would now ensure no IPL match is aired in Pakistan.
