Paraguay appoint Eduardo Berizzo as head coach

Former Sevilla and Athletic Bilbao boss Eduardo Berizzo has been named as the new Paraguay head coach. The 49-year-old Argentine last coached Bilbao but was sacked in December after just 1 win in 14 league matches. Berizzo also led Sevilla in their successful 2017-18 Champions League group-stage campaign. He takes over from Colombian Juan Carlos Osorio, who quit the job last week after only one game in charge.
