Virender Sehwag were a few of the cricketers who voiced their support for Mohammed Shami amidst the abuse he had to face. Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan highlighted the kind of effort a player puts in to give it his/her 100% for the country and also felt that cricket is a sport which brings people together. The 29-year-old also termed Shami as the one of the best bowlers of the world.
