Pollard to lead West Indies in Afghanistan ODI, T20I series in India

Kieron Pollard will lead West Indies in the ODIs and T20Is against Afghanistan to be played in Dehradun. The West Indies T20I team has several players who performed well in the recently concluded Caribbean Premier League. Lendl Simmons will make a comeback after scoring 430 runs in 12 innings for Trinbago Knight Riders in the CPL. However, Andre Russell and Chris Gayle are the two notable absentees from the squad.
