Prasanta Dora, Former India goalkeeper, dies at 44 due to hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis

Former India goalkeeper Prasanta Dora passed away aged 44 on Tuesday. Dora was suffering from Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) and he was admitted in a Kolkata hospital since December 28, reported Goal.com. During his player career, Dora represented Tollygunge Agragami, Calcutta Port Trust, Mohammedan Sporting, Mohun Bagan and East Bengal. For India, he made 5 appearances in competitions such as SAFF Cup and SAF Games.
