Real Madrid suffer shock defeat in La Liga

Real Madrid were handed their first league defeat of the season as they were beaten by Mallorca. Lago Junior scored the only goal of the game for the La Liga newcomers after only seven minutes when he fired into the far corner. Karim Benzema had a golden chance for Madrid when he hit the bar while Alvaro Odriozola saw a red card late on. Zinedine Zidane's side now sit second in La Liga, one point behind Barcelona.
