Rupinder returns to India hockey team for Australia tour

Star drag-flicker Rupinder Pal Singh makes a comeback to the Indian hockey team after being left out of the national team since last year’s Asian Games campaign. Hockey India named an 18-member side on Tuesday for the Australia tour. India will play Australia A in 2 matches followed by 2 matches against the senior team, in Perth from May 10-17. The tour will be the first assignment for India’s new coach Graham Reid.
