Sports ministry to review sports and cash awards, sets up 6-member team

The sports ministry has decided to create a more transparent atmosphere regarding the cash awards to the sportspersons and athletes. The 6-members committee will be headed by retired Justice Indermeet Kaur Kochar. Other members will be Aswini Nachappa, Mohandas Pai, Rajesh Kalra and Shiva Keshavan. The last member will be a from the ministry and they will review Arjuna Awards, Rajiv Khel Ratna awards and some more.
