Thailand, Bangladesh qualify for 2020 Women’s T20 World Cup

Thailand and Bangladesh secured 2 spots at next years’ inaugural ICC Women’s T20 World Cup winning their respective semifinals in the WC Qualifiers. Bangladesh knocked out Ireland in a low-scoring match chasing an 86-run target with 4 wickets in hand. In the other semifinal, Thailand qualified for their first-ever major event with an eight-wicket win over Papua New Guinea (PNG) chasing down a mere 67-run target.
