Indian skipper Virat Kohli has replaced Australia's test talisman, Steve Smith, to retain the top spot in the ICC test rankings. Virat is currently placed at the top spot with 928 rating points, helped by his recent double century against Bangladesh. Smith slipped to the second spot after his recent rare failure against Pakistan. The Australian batsman is placed below Kohli with 923 points. David Warner jumped to the 5th spot.
