The equal pay lawsuit filed by US women footballers against the nation’s Soccer body will go on trial on May 5, 2020. The gender discrimination lawsuit over unequal pay and working conditions was initially filed on March 8 by 28 women players after their triumph at the FIFA Women’s World Cup, and the latest trial date comes a week after the players and the soccer federation had reached an impasse in mediation.
