Vijender Singh of India defeated China’s Zulpikar Maimaitiali in a nail-biting finish to win the unified WBO Asia Pacific and Oriental Super Middleweight title. It was the first defeat of Zulpikar's professional career and ninth successive win for Vijender in his professional career. Meanwhile, Jitender Kumar and Akhil Kumar both won in their pro boxing debuts.
