Warner reveals why Tim Paine declared innings before his 400

David Warner had the chance to go past 400 and break Brian Lara’s highest individual scoring record in Test cricket but as Australia captain Tim Paine declared the innings with a total of 598/3 it didn’t happen. Warner later explained the innings was declared because Australia wanted more time and weather was also a concern. Plus, the bowlers will have better advantage in taking 14 wickets in the last two days.
