In a major blow to team India, star batter Suryakumar Yadav will miss the upcoming T20I series against Afghanistan and the first few weeks of IPL 2024 as he’s suffering from sports hernia. According to WebMD, a sports hernia is a painful soft tissue (muscle, tendon, ligament) injury that occurs in the groin area. It is generally seen in sports including intense twisting movements or sudden changes in direction.
