Women's World Cup 2022: Australia beat England in high-scoring thriller

Australia are off to a winning start in the 2022 ICC Women's World Cup. They defeated England by 12 runs, having successfully defended 310. Australian opener Rachael Haynes shone with a terrific century. England middle-order batter Natalie Sciver led from the front, however, her formidable century went in vain. England were restricted to 298 for 8 in 50 overs.
