Year after promise, more than 700 Ranji players yet to get compensation from the BCCI

BCCI is yet to figure out a proper compensation disbursement plan for the players, who took part in the 2019-20 edition of the Ranji Trophy. The compensation promised to the first-class players stands cancelled amidst the COVID-19 pandemic as the state units are yet to send in the necessary details, informed BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal. The 2020-21 edition couldn’t take due to the deteriorating situation in India.
