China emerges as the world leader for unicorns; India at 3rd position

According to Hurun Global Unicorn list 2019, China emerged as a world leader with the maximum number of unicorns i.e 206 out of 494 globally. The US has 203 unicorns. India was at 3rd position with 21 unicorns, followed by 13 unicorns in the UK. As per Hurun, the overall value of 494 unicorns was $1.7 trillion. The list of 10 most successful investors was topped by Sequoia with 92 startups, Tencent with 46 & SoftBank with 42.
