Govt will promote 10,000 startups in the next 5-6 years: MeitY Secretary

The government is looking to promote more than 10,000 startups in the coming five to six years under its GENESIS initiative, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Secretary Alkesh Kumar Sharma said on Tuesday (August 30). "We are now moving to the next level where GENESIS is coming…We are going to promote 10,000 startups in the next 5-6 years,” news agency PTI quoted Sharma as saying.
