Indian startups have raised more money in 2019 than in any previous years

Despite the slowdown in the economy, venture capitalists are betting on Indian startups. Indian startups have already raised a record $11.3 billion in 2019, which is higher than any previous year. With 2 months left in 2019, this number could rise furthermore by the time the year draws to a close. Consumer-facing startups raised $8.2 bn, retail startups raised $2.3 bn & startups that offered enterprise services raised $1.5 bn.
