According to cybersecurity firm Kaspersky, one in three computers that collect biometric data globally face hacking attempts. Biometric data security is crucial and the internet is the main source of threats for biometric data processing systems. Even though most customers are cautious, Kaspersky emphasizes on detecting malware that can affect the confidentiality and integrity of the bio-metric processing system.
