1st in India: Delhi metro to receive energy from waste to energy plant!

In a first of its kind environment- friendly initiative, Delhi Metro has achieved a big feat. According to the press release by DMRC, it has become the first every metro project in the country to generate and receive power from a waste-to-energy plant. The project is in line with PM Modi's 'Swachh Bharat Mission.' DMRC has started receiving power from this plant in East Delhi since the beginning of this month.
