3D laser scans saved in 2015 could help rebuild Notre Dame

The world watched in horror while flames tore through Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. It seemed the historic church could be lost forever, but cutting-edge imagining technology is now believed to the only solution to rebuild Notre Dame. Thanks to the meticulous work of art historian Andrew Tallon, every detail and mysterious clue to the building's 13th-century construction was recorded in a digital archive in 2015.
