India will send man to space by December 2021: ISRO Chief K Sivan

ISRO chief K Sivan says the country is moving ahead & will focus on its next mission 'Gaganyaan'; target of sending a man to space by Dec 2021. He asserted that even though Chandrayaan-2's lander didn't soft-land as per plan, it will have no bearing on Gaganyaan. Chandrayaan-2's orbiter will provide data for the next 7.5 years; all the technologies of the mission have proved accurate except for the soft landing, isn't it a success?
