He never thought that he'll be recognized ever, but this Indian engineer has been awarded the 2019 Commonwealth Secretary-General's Innovation for Sustainable Development Award in London for a low-cost neonatal breathing device, that saved lives of numerous newborn babies across various small towns of India. Nitesh Kumar Jangir created Saans, a breathing support device, which deals with avoidable deaths of newborns.
